ABOUT CODEBREAKERS
CodeBreakers® was formerly known as Leek Dyslexia and Literacy Support.
We are located less than a mile from Leek Town centre.
Easily accessible from North Staffordshire, Stoke on Trent, East Cheshire, Derbyshire & the Peak District.
Georgina Smith is a PATOSS registered and AMBDA member, qualified to Level 7 in dyslexia tuition and assessment from MMU, UK.
She has worked in the local community for over 10 years offering a dyslexia assessment and tuition service, offering FREE initial guidance. Her passion is to support individuals of all ages, children and adults, to ensure they maximise their potential.
Georgina has worked with charity organisations helping adults return to work, supporting their literacy and numeracy skills. In addition, she has worked at an FE college as a 1:1 literacy support volunteer.
Having graduated from MMU she set up her own practice in North Staffordshire and serves Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Cheshire and Derbyshire areas with her tuition and assessment service. She presently works with students from age 6 onwards to post-16, adults in work and adults returning to education. Like so many people working in this field, her passion came from identifying family members who required literacy support.
Over the years Georgina has learned more about overlapping/co-existing SPLDs and completed CPD in various fields. Although unable to make diagnosis of additional SPLDs, she is able to identify key characteristics in some areas and make suggestions for further evaluations and make suggestions for suitable referral routes.
More recently Georgina is the author of CodeBreakers® Dyslexia Programme for all ages. This is now available as a Home or School Edition
